General Waste Collection & Services

What types of waste do you collect?

We collect a wide range of waste types, including general household waste, garden waste, commercial waste, construction and demolition debris, recyclable materials, and some hazardous waste (subject to regulations).

Can I mix different waste types in one skip?

This depends on the type of skip you hire. Some skips are suitable for mixed waste, while others are restricted to certain materials (e.g. inert or recyclable waste). We’ll advise you when booking.

Do you recycle the waste you collect?

Yes — recycling is at the heart of everything we do. We process waste at our materials recycling facility and divert as much as possible from landfill.

Skip Hire FAQs

What size skips do you offer?

We offer a wide range of skip sizes, from 4-yard mini skips to 40-yard roll-on roll-off containers. Our team can help you choose the right size for your project.

How long can I keep a skip?

Our standard hire period is up to 7 days, but we’re flexible. Let us know if you need it for longer and we’ll arrange accordingly.

Do I need a permit for a skip?

Permit requirements can vary depending on the local council, and in some cases, customers may need to arrange the permit themselves. While we may not always be able to organise this on your behalf, we’re always happy to offer advice and point you in the right direction.

What can’t I put in a skip?

You cannot dispose of the following items in a standard skip:

  • Asbestos
  • Tyres
  • Fridges/freezers
  • Paints or solvents
  • Electrical items (WEEE)
  • Gas canisters
  • Hazardous or clinical waste
Please contact us if you need to dispose of any of these items — we can advise on compliant disposal options.

Are you licensed to carry and process waste?
