Hamilton Waste & Recycling now offers caged van collection rounds in the areas of Edinburgh and East Lothian.
This gives our customers a flexible option for smaller loads, quick clear-outs and items that don’t justify a full skip.
Whether you’re a contractor needing a tidy-up after a job, a business clearing space, or a householder getting rid of bulky items – our team can collect and remove it safely and efficiently.

Prices include:
- 2-person loading team
- Collection & transport
- Disposal at licensed facility
- Up to 30 minutes loading time
Additional charges (where applicable)
- Extra loading time: £25 + VAT per 15 minutes
- Difficult access / long carry: £25 – £75 + VAT
- Out-of-area or waiting time: priced on request
Weight limits apply to all loads. Heavier materials such as soil, rubble, hardcore, plasterboard or dense waste may reduce load size and/or incur additional charges

Unacceptable Materials
- Asbestos and hazardous construction materials
- Gas cylinders and pressurised containers (including aerosols)
- Batteries (including lithium and vehicle batteries)
- Chemicals, paints, solvents and household hazardous waste
- Oils, fuels, antifreeze and other liquid waste
- Clinical and medical waste (including sharps, needles, syringes)
- Animal or human waste (including excrement)
- Fire extinguishers
- Explosives or flammable materials
- Any unidentified or potentially hazardous substances
